Our customers wanted a modern kitchen that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical for everyday use. They envisioned a space that felt open and bright while incorporating some industrial elements for a modern edge. The goal was to create a kitchen that felt sophisticated yet comfortable, blending contemporary design with cosy touches. The final result delivers exactly that, with clean lines, sleek finishes, and a layout that maximises functionality.
The kitchen’s layout features an L-shaped configuration complemented by a central island, allowing for an efficient workflow. The L-shape provides ample countertop space for meal preparation, while the island serves as a central gathering spot, perfect for casual dining or enjoying a morning coffee. With the sink and hob situated along the main countertops, the island remains uncluttered, offering additional workspace and seating without interrupting the kitchen’s flow.
A mix of textures and finishes brings depth to the kitchen’s design. The base cabinets are a smooth matte taupe, which we paired with industrial-style meteor oxide wall cabinets to create a contrasting design with visual interest. This modern kitchen also features a hidden “utility” cupboard which helps to keep counter-top clutter at bay and hides away white goods.
For worktops, our customers chose these stunning UMQ Twinkle surfaces in white. Paired with Blanco taps and sink, we created the ultimate blend of style and functionality.
For appliances, our customers opted for NEFF oven and hob and chose to integrate a wine chiller which is perfect for entertaining. Integrating the oven and fridge as well as using an induction hob completed this modern look by keeping the surfaces flush and sleek.
Designing and fitting this kitchen was an incredibly rewarding project.
