Our team have recently completed this stunning renovation with a modern handleless kitchen and utility room using German units and top of the range appliances. Our clients wanted to modernise and brighten up their space whilst creating a kitchen perfect for family living and entertaining. The kitchen is the heart of the home, and therefore arguably the most important room in every house. We wanted to make sure our clients would love their new kitchen for many years to come, so attention to detail was really important for us; it was vital that this transformation considered style, functionality and comfort.

BEFORE & AFTER: KITCHEN

A taupe and walnut modern handleless kitchen with breakfast bar and herringbone flooring.
An outdated wooden kitchen with checkered white and red tiles and grey tiled floor.

Our clients knew that they wanted to go for a modern design, so after an initial visit to our showroom, we settled on these modern handleless kitchen units, which we paired with subtle marble effect worktops to add a touch of luxury. The original layout worked really well for our clients, so we focused on modernisation of the existing layout.

By adding in the walnut accent cupboards, we created texture and visual interest to the space and added warmth to what would have been a monochromatic room. Our clients then added further texture with these stunning herringbone wood floors which complement the units perfectly. Nicola worked with our clients to design their new kitchen, guiding them through each step of decision making.

The utility space also needed updating in line with the kitchen, so we opted for the same modern handleless kitchen units in taupe. Our clients decided to add a window to the room which now floods the space with light. Moving the fridge into the utility opened up more space in the kitchen and improved the functionality of the space.

Matt project managed the build of this renovation, using his keen eye for detail to make sure the finish was perfect. Both the Kedleston Interiors team and our clients are thrilled with how this space has turned out.
