Kedleston Interiors played an important role in a huge transformation completed earlier this year, together with ADH Building Services, Allestree. Our customer was looking to utilise their new large space, created by knocking down a wall to open it up and create a welcoming, open plan area. Choosing a traditional, shaker style kitchen was the perfect option for this family. Their gorgeous new shaker style kitchen fits in seamlessly with the style of the rest of this gorgeous traditional house.
With tongue and groove feature panels, no detail was missed. The customer decided to go for a traditional shaker door, in the colour Bespoke Enfield Blue for the island and Cornforth White by Farrow & Ball for the wall units with Caesarstone worktops throughout, which work perfectly together. Choosing to go for contrasting colours on the island to the rest of the kitchen brought visual interest to the space and also gave the illusion of an even larger room. By creating a large kitchen island with plenty of seating, this space is ideal for socialising whilst cooking. A few industrial-style touches brought the space to life. We love the finished look particularly with the custom built over mantle and feature Antique Mirror.
This shaker style kitchen is complete with top of the range appliances from some excellent brands. A Neff oven with slide away door, Quooker tap and built in wine fridge bring luxury into the home.
An exposed brick floor and gorgeous herringbone flooring elevate the room just that little bit more to create an impressive space anyone would be proud of.
